Tech Updated

I decided that I needed a MacBook, but was not too sure which one to bother with.  Do I get the skinny Air version, a MacBook Pro, or one with Retina, and then which version of the one I pick do I go for?  In the end I decided to go for the MacBook Pro with Retina, and whilst I was buying it, I then went for an iPhone 6s Plus, just for good measure.  But it did not stop there.  I bought my partner a new PC (he only uses Windows), so I got him a really nice Lenovo all in one PC with a 23″ touch screen, and I am quite impressed with it.  But I decided that we needed one more thing to update our tech requirements, and that was an ultra HD 4k tv with full 3D, one word is WOW that sums the TV up.

As with all tech, there is will always be something that screws you up.  However, this was not due to the products, but the outage of our internet.  We have fibre broadband that is super fast, but I plugged the tv into the router as it sits in the cabinet under the tv, so thought it would be better than wifi, and bang, the broadband stopped working.  I messed around with it and after about 30 minutes I called the provider, had to do some messing about, and they informed me that there was a problem at the exchange, and it would be back up in anytime between the call to 5 days time, depending on the reason.  10:30pm and it was back up, so I could then finally set up my new toys, just in time for bed.

Needless to say I did not get chance to play with my toys properly, so tonight was the start of the fun.  Hopefully this will encourage me to start writing more and more.  Keep watching.
