Hilary or Bernie?

4/5 years ago I watched a storm of gay guys and girls on social media big up Hilary and literally demand that she be the next president of the USA.  Today I see the complete opposite and am witness to hate and vitriol from the exact same people who wanted her in last time. What has changed I wonder? What makes these people love on day then hate the next, and call for Bernie to be the next president.

As long as it isn’t that Muppet Trump, I really do not mind.

Elizabeth II – The Queen

Queen Elizabeth II reaches her 90th birthday.  Quite a landmark for anyone, not only the longest serving British Monarch but the oldest serving British Monarch.

The photograph above was taken by Annie Leibovitz, showing The Queen with her great-grandchildren and youngest grandchildren. From left: James, Viscount Severn; Lady Louise Windsor; Mia Tindall (holding the Queen’s handbag); Princess Charlotte; Savannah Phillips; Prince George and Isla Phillips

I hope that when I am 90 I am as sprightly as she is.  I also hope that we see her reaching 100, and still our Monarch.

Dashcam Action

I have, on many occasions thought about getting a dash cam. Safety the main reason if I’m honest, but I also love my gadgets, especially in the car. Hell, my car has Facebook, Twitter and a whole host of apps as it has wifi.

My partner likes to do time lapse videos, alas this Dashcam like near all others does 3-minute video sections so I think a full on 3-hour job sped up to show on 20 minutes isn’t going to happen unless there is software for stitching it together.

I decided that I wanted it fitting properly too so the guys at Halfords are installing it now into the fuse box saving having wires all over the place, and using the lighter for power. Now when the car is turned on it starts automatically.

I have gone for the Nextbase 312 GW as it gets good reviews, connects to my wifi in the car and my iPhone and is magnetic powered so again easy in and out with no messing with connecting wires.

Looking forward to seeing it finished and trying it out.

Victoria Wood

Today we say a fond farewell to one of the UK’s best comedians.  Victoria Wood passed away today after a short battle with cancer. I for one will miss her.

Not only was she a great comedian, but an incredible actress in both funny and serious roles.  If you have never seen her in a serious role, then may I suggest watching “Housewife, 49”
