I love gothic/Victorian clothing, I always have, and luckily enough, they seem to suit me. However, there is one sweater that I would love to make myself, and it is this one modelled by Josh Hartnett as Ethan Chandler in Penny Dreadful season two.
I love the simplicity of it, the colour and the detail of the shoulder closing. It is simple and yet divine.
If anyone knows of a knitting pattern that matches this, or the original pattern that this is made from, please let me know.
Post Script: I also love the knitwear that Eca Green (Vanessa Ives) is wearing too.

Those are really nice styles! Have you considered designing your own? I bet you could alter a pattern that you know works for you.

I did think of that, I thought I could get a basic, and change it. Looking at his sweater I feel it may be moss stitch, but may have to find a larger photograph.
